India captain Rohit Sharma has shut down retirement talk on Sunday, July 14 as he said everyone would see him playing for a while. Rohit masterminded India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph in the West Indies and the USA in June this year and was the second highest run-getter in the tournament.
Following the win, Rohit would announce his retirement from the T20I format for India, as he felt it was the right time to sign off on a high. On Sunday, during an event in Dallas, Rohit was once again asked about retirement from the game. The India captain said he isn’t someone who thinks a lot ahead but he still has a lot of left in his tank.
